About

Hi Hello Community Arts is directed by Brittany O’Meara and Cait Harris.

Cait Harris is a multidisciplinary artist, printer, and designer. Her work engages with political and social justice issues and utilizes printmaking as a tool for expression and interpretation. Cait is interested in community interactions that facilitate change through dialogue and collaboration. Cait has taught printmaking classes at the Oregon College of Art & Craft, Boise State University, and Boise Art Museum and is currently a Visual Arts MFA candidate at Boise State University.

Brittany O’Meara is a printmaker, writer, and agitator living in Boise, Idaho. Her art is sometimes funny, sometimes very serious, but usually both; she is obsessed with anthropomorphic food and critical theory because there are no rules. Brittany believes that art and writing are powerful tools for making change in the community and imagines a better world than what we currently have. She holds an MA in English literature and teaches English to first-year writing students at Boise State University and College of Western Idaho. When she is not in the classroom or studio, she is at home trying on things to wear and talking to her animals.
